Siemens is hiring an Automation Engineer to deliver automation solutions for oil and gas chemical and utility projects across onshore and offshore sites. The role covers system engineering programming and commissioning for large industrial facilities.
What the role involves:
- Designing and implementing automation systems for platforms plants and utilities
- Hands-on programming using PCS7 WinCC Step 7 and TIA Portal
- Working on DCS upgrades migrations and HMI development
- Coordinating with vendors system houses and factories for testing and commissioning
- Travelling to customer sites in India and overseas for project execution
Ideal profile:
Graduate in Instrumentation Electrical or Automation Engineering with 5–10 years of automation experience. Strong exposure to Siemens tools and industrial projects. Good communication skills and ability to work with global teams.
