Siemens is hiring an Embedded Hardware Lead to drive end to end hardware development for industrial automation and energy solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead embedded hardware development from concept to production
- Convert requirements into hardware specifications
- Guide board bring up debugging and validation activities
- Ensure EMI EMC compliance and certification with external labs
- Collaborate with firmware PCB and manufacturing teams
- Drive DFMEA and support new product introduction
- Work with certification bodies like TUV and ERDA
Required Qualifications:
- Strong experience in embedded hardware design and development
- Expertise in industrial automation IoT or energy systems
- Hands on with microcontrollers analog and digital design
- Experience with EMI EMC qualification cycles
- Knowledge of communication protocols like SPI I2C UART Ethernet
- Experience in power supply design and PCB development
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with tools like LTSpice MATLAB
- Understanding of firmware and Python scripting
- Experience with DFMEA and NPI processes
- Exposure to AI/ML in embedded systems
