Samsung Electronics has announced an exclusive global partnership with Fender to bring the first TV optimized version of Fender Play to Samsung TVs in 2026.
The partnership introduces Fender Play as a large screen learning experience designed specifically for television use. Users can learn electric guitar acoustic guitar bass or ukulele through structured learning paths and on demand lessons based on skill level. Lessons are built around familiar songs and step by step guidance.
The app also includes Jam Mode which allows users to play along with curated backing tracks across different music styles using visual backgrounds on screen. This turns the TV into an interactive practice space rather than a passive viewing screen.
Samsung previewed the experience at CES 2026 with live demonstrations showing how video based music lessons can fit into daily routines at home. The app is designed to take advantage of Samsung TV picture and audio capabilities to support engagement during practice sessions.
The Fender Play app for Samsung TVs is scheduled to launch globally in the first half of 2026.
