Zebra Technologies is hiring a Senior Sales Engineer to support retail hardware sales across India. This role focuses on pre-sales engineering, solution design and technical support for POS systems, kiosks, KDS and touch monitors across grocery, QSR, F&B and convenience retail formats.
What the role involves:
- Working with retail sales teams to understand customer needs and design tailored hardware solutions
- Supporting POS terminals, self-service kiosks, KDS and touch monitor deployments
- Delivering product demos, presentations and proof-of-concept trials
- Providing technical inputs during sales discussions on compatibility, integration and cost optimization
- Preparing technical proposals, solution documents and tender responses
- Advising teams on retail technology trends like self-service, IoT and contactless payments
- Handling pre-sales troubleshooting and technical queries from customers
- Supporting installation, configuration and user training at customer sites
- Working with customer success teams for post-deployment issue resolution
- Sharing customer feedback with product teams to improve solutions for Indian retail needs
Ideal profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, IT or related field
- 7+ years of experience in pre-sales or FAE roles for retail hardware
- Strong knowledge of POS systems, kiosks, touch monitors and KDS
- Experience supporting grocery chains, QSRs and F&B retailers
- Strong customer-facing communication and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work on-site in Mumbai or Noida
