Schneider Electric to Highlight Energy and AI Initiatives at World Economic Forum

Schneider Electric has announced its participation in the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos Switzerland. The company’s delegation is led by CEO Olivier Blum and will focus on advancing collaboration around energy technology and AI.

At the meeting, Schneider Electric will showcase AI applications delivering real world impact. The company has been recognized in the Forum’s MINDS program for EcoStruxure Microgrid Advisor and Snaplogic Touchscreen Room Controller with awards to be presented on January 20.

Schneider Electric also received its ninth Global Lighthouse recognition with its Wuhan factory joining the Forum’s Global Lighthouse Network. The site was recognized for a people centric workforce model and was among the first to receive a distinction in the new talent category.

Schneider Electric leaders will convene global executives through the Bloomberg New Economy Energy Technology Coalition to support efficient and resilient energy use. The company will also announce EDGE Transition, a joint initiative with EDP to support social entrepreneurs delivering clean and affordable energy solutions in underserved communities.
