Luminous Power Technologies has appointed Vivek Abrol as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer. In this role he will lead the company’s next phase of growth. His focus will be on improving profitability, strengthening the inverter and battery business and expanding solar and sustainable energy solutions. He will also guide Luminous toward becoming an integrated consumer energy platform with emphasis on innovation, digital adoption and operational efficiency.
Vivek Abrol brings more than 25 years of leadership experience including over a decade as CEO across consumer businesses. He began his career at ITC Ltd where he spent 16 years in senior FMCG leadership roles. He later served as business head and CEO at companies such as Pidilite Industries and RR Kabel managing full scale operations across sectors.
