Motorola Solutions has announced the expansion of its AI powered security platform at Intersec Dubai. The updates focus on helping enterprises move from reactive incident detection to proactive safety and operational response across large and complex sites.
A key highlight is Avigilon Visual Alerts which introduces new on premise AI detection capabilities. Using conversational interfaces, security teams can define custom visual alerts such as unauthorized vehicles near sensitive assets or blocked emergency exits. The system continuously scans camera feeds and notifies teams in real time, enabling faster triage and response. By operating fully on premise, the solution delivers site specific awareness without relying on cloud connectivity.
The platform extends video security beyond traditional perimeter protection and supports operational use cases across sectors such as oil and gas and healthcare. Applications include hazard detection, monitoring restricted areas, identifying patient falls and supporting compliance requirements.
Motorola Solutions also showcased long range cameras designed for extreme environments and operational resilience software that helps organizations anticipate and respond to incidents more effectively.
