LG Electronics announced that it will unveil new compressor and motor technologies at AHR Expo 2026, taking place in Las Vegas from February 2 to 4, 2026.

At the event LG will highlight a new design approach that rethinks structure movement and positioning to improve efficiency compactness and long term reliability. The showcase reflects LG’s nearly 70 years of experience in developing compressors and motors used across HVAC systems refrigerators washing machines and vacuum cleaners.

Key innovations include the LG BHA Series – DualJet™ technology for reciprocating compressors and LG CurvedSpoke™ technology for brushless DC motors.

The LG BHA Series – DualJet™ improves refrigerant flow by balancing internal pressure during compression. This helps reduce energy consumption under real world conditions while maintaining performance. Built in protection and diagnostic functions continuously monitor operation to support early fault detection and stable long term use.

The LG CurvedSpoke™ motor technology uses an arc shaped magnet design to increase energy density while reducing motor size by about 12 percent. This enables more compact and lightweight residential air conditioning systems without compromising efficiency.
