Dr Kamal Malik appointed as Director – Business Development and Commercial Transformation at Medtronic

Dr Kamal Malik has been appointed Director Business Development and Commercial Transformation at Medtronic. In this role he will focus on driving growth initiatives, strengthening commercial capabilities and supporting business transformation across key portfolios.

Before this appointment he held leadership roles at Intuitive and earlier at Medtronic where he worked on clinical marketing and portfolio strategy across advanced therapy areas. His career also includes roles at Abbott, Biogen, Vanderbilt University Owen Graduate School of Management and Fortis Healthcare. His background spans medical affairs, healthcare strategy, marketing leadership and organisational development.
