LG Electronics has received the AHRI Performance Award for multiple HVAC products including VRF systems, air cooled and water cooled chillers and residential water heaters.

The recognition is granted by the Air-Conditioning, Heating & Refrigeration Institute to manufacturers whose products meet stated performance claims over three consecutive years. LG’s VRF solutions and chillers have earned this certification for nine straight years.

This year’s evaluation covered six categories such as VRF systems, chillers, residential water heaters, air handling units and heating and cooling coils. The Multi V 5 VRF system was assessed for operational performance and includes AI based optimisation and a simplified control platform.

LG’s residential Inverter Heat Pump Water Heater was included in the program for the first time. The product features a dual inverter compressor, ENERGY STAR certification and app based control through LG ThinQ.
