Nikon has introduced the SPORTSTAR EX II binoculars through its subsidiary Nikon Vision Co., Ltd. The new series succeeds the SPORTSTAR EX line first launched in 2006.
The SPORTSTAR EX II is available in 8×25 and 10×25 models. Both feature a waterproof nitrogen filled body and a compact fold up design for portability during travel and outdoor use.
The 8×25 model offers an apparent field of view of 60.3°, designed to help users quickly acquire subjects. Multilayer coated lenses support bright and clear viewing, while turn and slide rubber eyecups improve eye positioning.
The binoculars include rubber armouring for shock resistance and an aluminium alloy body for durability. Each model weighs 310 g and measures 100 mm in length, making them easy to carry without adding bulk.
The updated ergonomic exterior combines improved grip with a refined design suited for everyday observation and outdoor activities.
