Arvind KC has been appointed as Chief People Officer at OpenAI. In this role he will lead global talent strategy, hiring and organisational development as the company enters a new phase of growth. His focus will be on building strong people systems that support fast moving technical teams in the AI era. He will report to Chief Strategy Officer Jason Kwon.
Before joining OpenAI he served as Chief People and Systems Officer at Roblox where he led workforce strategy and internal technology systems. Earlier he worked as Vice President of Engineering at Google and as Chief Information Officer at Palantir Technologies. His career also includes leadership roles at Facebook and Xilinx. With over 25 years of experience across engineering and people leadership he brings a strong blend of technical and organisational expertise.
