JBL returns to SXSW 2026 as the Official Audio Partner, continuing its focus on supporting emerging artists through immersive music and cultural experiences in Austin. The activation is grounded in the JBL Music Academy mentorship program developed with Martin Garrix.
JBL Livebrary at 3TEN
JBL will take over 3TEN at Austin City Limits with the debut of the JBL Livebrary, a headphone focused experience featuring performances by Steve Aoki and LP Giobbi alongside JBL Music Academy artists. The space will showcase JBL Tour and open ear headphone series and introduce new premium headphone models.
JBL x Rolling Stone
JBL continues as Official Audio Partner for Rolling Stone’s Future of Music showcase, spotlighting rising talent through performances and industry conversations.
Artist Development Panel
A SXSW panel titled “Creating Real Pathways for Emerging Music Artists” will feature LP Giobbi, Soukhya and JBL executives discussing mentorship and access in early careers.
JBL Campus Run Club
JBL Campus will host a two mile run at the University of Texas at Austin led by Gabby DePietro, featuring JBL open ear headphones and curated playlists.
Events run March 11 to March 14 across Austin venues.
