Nothing Launches Phone (4a) Pro With New Camera System and Glyph Matrix

Nothing has introduced the Phone (4a) Pro featuring a redesigned camera system upgraded Glyph Matrix and improved performance.

The smartphone retains the brand’s signature transparent design with a full metal aluminium body measuring 7.95 mm in thickness. It includes IP65 dust and water resistance and a vapor chamber cooling system for thermal management.

A new Glyph Matrix system with 137 mini LEDs delivers brighter and more detailed notifications. Users can customise light patterns for calls contacts and alerts while Glyph Toys features such as battery timer and digital clock remain supported.

The camera setup includes a Sony OIS main camera, a 50MP 3.5x OIS telephoto periscope lens with up to 140x zoom, a Sony ultra wide camera and a 32MP front camera. The device supports Ultra XDR photos and 4K Ultra XDR video through the TrueLens Engine 4.

Powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor the device offers improved CPU graphics and AI performance. It features a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution 144Hz refresh rate and peak brightness up to 5000 nits.

The phone runs Nothing OS 4 with AI tools such as Essential Space Essential Search and Essential Memory.

Pre orders begin March 13, 2026 with open sales starting March 27.

Phone (4a) Pro will be available in black, silver and pink in three configurations:

  • 8+128 GB – £499 / ₹39,999 / $499 / €479
  • 8+256GB – ₹42,999
  • 12+256 GB – £549 / ₹45,999 / $599 / €549
