Samsung Secures No. 1 Position in Commercial Displays for 17th Consecutive Year
Samsung Electronics has retained its top position in the global commercial display market in 2025, marking 17 consecutive years of leadership with a 35.2 percent market share by unit sales, according to Omdia.
The company shipped over 2.5 million units during the year, reaching its highest annual sales in this segment. Samsung’s performance reflects its focus on combining display hardware with cloud and AI-based solutions across industries such as retail, corporate, education and hospitality.
Recent product developments include Spatial Signage with 3D display capabilities in a slim design, and Color E-Paper displays designed for low power usage. The Color E-Paper also uses recycled plastic and bio-resin materials to reduce environmental impact.
Samsung’s portfolio also includes large-format displays ranging from 105-inch to 130-inch models for commercial environments.
In addition to hardware, Samsung continues to expand its software ecosystem with platforms like VXT for remote management and AI Studio for content creation, supporting integrated display solutions for businesses.
