ReNew Secures Major $95 Million Investment to Expand Clean Energy Platform

ReNew Attracts LeapFrog-Led Funding to Scale Commercial and Industrial Energy Solutions

ReNew Energy Global Plc has secured a $95 million equity investment for its commercial and industrial platform, ReNew Green Energy Solutions. The funding round is led by LeapFrog Investments with a $50 million commitment, along with participation from Emerging Market Climate Action Fund and Carlyle AlpInvest.

ReNew Green manages a clean energy portfolio of around 2.5 GW capacity across India, with more than 2.0 GW already operational. Around 1.3 GW is supported by long-term agreements with companies such as Microsoft, Amazon and Google.

The platform provides renewable energy solutions to industries including automotive, chemicals, cement, textiles and technology through structured power agreements.

The investment aims to support expansion of clean energy infrastructure for corporate customers and reflects growing interest in scalable climate solutions in emerging markets. It also aligns with efforts to support low-carbon development while enabling business growth.
