WhatsApp Enhances Chat Experience With Cross-Platform Transfer and AI-Powered Features
WhatsApp has introduced new features aimed at improving chat management, device flexibility and in-app productivity.
Users can now manage storage more efficiently by deleting large files directly within chats without removing entire conversations. There is also an option to clear only media while keeping chat history intact.
The app now supports cross-platform chat transfer between iOS and Android, allowing users to move conversations, photos and videos more easily when switching devices.
WhatsApp has also enabled support for using two accounts on a single iPhone, helping users separate personal and work conversations without needing multiple devices.
On the AI side, Meta AI introduces tools for editing photos within chats, including background changes and visual enhancements. Writing Help can also suggest responses based on conversation context while maintaining privacy.
Additional updates include emoji-based sticker suggestions to improve expression in chats.
These features are rolling out globally and will be available to users over time.
