BSH Navigates Market Challenges with Regional Growth and Continued R&D Investments
BSH Home Appliances Group reported a turnover of €15 billion for the financial year 2025, reflecting a slight decline of 1.6% year-on-year after exchange rate adjustments, while showing growth in local currency terms.
The company recorded sales growth across North America, Europe and emerging markets, supported by demand in premium segments and built-in appliances. Europe saw a 1.2% increase despite pricing pressures, while North America delivered growth driven by brands like Gaggenau and Thermador. Emerging markets also showed steady expansion, with India set to become a separate reporting region from 2026.
Product segments such as cooking appliances, dishwashers and consumer products reported growth, while refrigeration and laundry saw declines due to competitive pressures.
BSH continued to invest in innovation, allocating €847 million to research and development and €463 million toward future-focused initiatives including AI, digitalization and infrastructure.
The company highlighted AI-enabled appliances and connected solutions as key focus areas, while maintaining a cautious outlook for 2026 amid ongoing market volatility.
