Program Targets Agentic Multimodal Physical and Sovereign AI Startups

Google has opened applications for the 2026 cohort of the Google for Startups Accelerator India, a three-month equity-free program for AI-first startups in India.

The program is aimed at startups from Seed to Series A building solutions across Agentic AI, Multimodal AI, Physical AI, and Sovereign AI. It focuses on companies solving India-specific challenges or developing specialized AI models for global use cases.

Selected startups will receive access to Google’s AI ecosystem, including tools such as Gemini, along with mentorship from teams across DeepMind, Cloud, and Android. The program also offers infrastructure support such as Cloud TPUs and credits, along with structured guidance to help startups achieve product and growth milestones.

The accelerator will begin in late June with an in-person bootcamp in Bengaluru, followed by a multi-month program ending with a demo day in October. Applications are open until April 19.
