LG Energy Solution Joins SDVerse Automotive Software Marketplace

LG Energy Solution has joined SDVerse, becoming the first battery company to participate in the automotive software marketplace.

SDVerse, co-founded by General Motors, Magna International, and Wipro, serves as a platform for companies to list and access software solutions for software-defined vehicles.

Through this participation, LG Energy Solution is introducing five battery software solutions designed for SDV environments. These include tools for battery diagnostics, lifecycle simulation, safety analysis, and performance optimization using data and machine learning.

The offerings aim to support improved battery management, enhance safety, and extend battery life in electric vehicles. By integrating software capabilities with battery technology, the company is expanding its role within the mobility ecosystem.
