Hyundai Pleos Connect Infotainment System Brings AI Voice Control and App Ecosystem
Hyundai Motor Group has introduced Pleos Connect, a next generation in vehicle infotainment system designed as part of its transition to software defined vehicles. The system will debut in the new GRANDEUR in Korea in May, followed by global rollout including the IONIQ 3 in Europe.
Pleos Connect combines a widescreen display, a driver focused slim screen and physical controls to improve usability and safety. It supports over the air updates and aims to be deployed in around 20 million Hyundai, Kia and Genesis vehicles by 2030.
The platform integrates Gleo AI, a voice assistant powered by a large language model, enabling natural language control for navigation, vehicle settings and information searches. It also supports multi command inputs and context aware responses.
An App Market enables third party services such as navigation, media and web browsing, extending smartphone like functionality into the car.
The system enhances navigation with real time data and customizable layouts, supporting a more connected and personalized driving experience.
