Program Focuses on AI Coding and Employability Skills
Samsung Electronics has certified 1,000 students in Maharashtra under its Samsung Innovation Campus programme, focused on building skills in artificial intelligence and coding.
The initiative included students from institutions such as Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pimpri Chinchwad University, D. Y. Patil University, and Anjuman-I-Islam’s Kalsekar Technical Campus. Participants received training in technical areas along with soft skills and career readiness modules aimed at improving employability.
Launched in India in 2022, the programme combines classroom learning with mentorship and project-based training to support practical skill development. It is implemented in collaboration with the Electronics Sector Skills Council of India and Telecom Sector Skill Council.
The initiative is part of Samsung’s broader efforts in education and digital inclusion, aligned with India’s skilling agenda. The programme has also reported participation from women learners, contributing to inclusive workforce development.
