Move Aims to Expand Vehicle Motion and Mobility Portfolio

Bosch Limited has announced plans to acquire 100 percent stake in Bosch Chassis Systems India Private Limited, strengthening its presence in India’s mobility sector.

The acquisition, which includes a mix of cash and equity issuance, will bring the Vehicle Motion business under Bosch Limited’s portfolio. This includes automotive safety systems such as braking technologies, electronic stability control, airbags, and related components across passenger vehicles, two-wheelers, and commercial vehicles.

The integration is expected to enhance Bosch Limited’s capabilities in safety, braking, and broader mobility solutions, while supporting local research, development, and manufacturing.

Post-acquisition, Bosch Chassis Systems India will continue to operate as an independent entity, becoming a wholly owned subsidiary of Bosch Limited, subject to shareholder approval.
