HPE is hiring a Component Engineer – Semiconductors to manage component lifecycle supplier changes and compliance. The role focuses on semiconductor components validation supplier coordination and product quality in networking systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage component lifecycle including product changes and discontinuation
• Validate semiconductor specifications and component data
• Work on ASICs analog digital and communication ICs
• Identify alternate components using fit form and function analysis
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal engineering teams
• Ensure compliance with standards like RoHS and REACH
• Analyze reliability test data and quality reports
• Support product development and manufacturing processes

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Electronics or Mechanical Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in component engineering or semiconductor domain
• Strong knowledge of semiconductor components and ICs
• Experience in product change management and compliance processes
• Understanding of quality standards and reliability testing
• Familiarity with PLM or ERP tools

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in PCB manufacturing and testing
• Knowledge of networking or routing systems
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
