ASUS TUF Gaming Platinum PSU Series Brings GaN Efficiency and Durable Design
ASUS has introduced the TUF Gaming Platinum power supply series, available in 850W, 1000W and 1200W variants. The lineup focuses on efficiency, durability and support for modern high performance systems.
The new PSUs use GaN MOSFET technology, which improves power efficiency by up to 30% compared to traditional silicon components. This enables faster switching, lower heat generation and improved airflow due to a more compact internal layout.
The series is designed for quiet operation, maintaining noise levels below 30dB, and uses dual ball bearing fans for longer lifespan. It also features military grade components, Japanese capacitors and protective PCB coating for stability in demanding environments.
The PSUs are 80 Plus Platinum certified and support ATX 3.1 standards, including a 16 pin PCIe cable delivering up to 600W for next generation graphics cards.
