LG Display DFR Gaming OLED Panel Wins SID Award for High Refresh and Resolution
LG Display has won the “Display of the Year” award from the Society for Information Display for its 27 inch Dynamic Frequency and Resolution gaming OLED panel.
The panel features DFR technology, allowing users to switch between high refresh rate and high resolution modes based on gaming needs. In high refresh mode, it supports up to 720Hz at HD resolution, reducing motion blur and ghosting in fast paced games. In high resolution mode, it delivers QHD resolution with a 540Hz refresh rate.
The display also achieves a peak brightness of 1,500 nits and a response time of 0.02 ms. It has received ClearMR 21000 certification from Video Electronics Standards Association, indicating high motion clarity performance.
The award recognizes innovation in display technology and highlights LG Display’s focus on improving gaming performance through flexible display modes.
