LG UltraGear evo 5K Monitor Introduces Hyper Mini LED and AI Upscaling
LG Electronics has introduced its UltraGear evo GM9 5K gaming monitor, featuring Hyper Mini LED technology for improved brightness and contrast.
The 27 inch monitor delivers 5K resolution with 2,304 local dimming zones, offering more precise light control and reduced halo effects. It has received anti blooming certification from TÜV Rheinland and supports VESA DisplayHDR 1000 with peak brightness of 1,250 nits.
The display includes AI powered 5K upscaling, allowing content to be enhanced without requiring additional GPU performance. Additional AI features optimize visuals and audio for better gameplay experience.
Dual mode functionality allows switching between 5K at 165Hz for visual quality and QHD at 330Hz for high speed gaming, with a 1 ms response time. It also supports NVIDIA G SYNC and AMD FreeSync Premium for smoother performance.
The monitor includes DisplayPort 2.1 and USB C connectivity with 90W power delivery, supporting both gaming and professional use cases.
