Anthropic has appointed Theo Hourmouzis as General Manager Australia and New Zealand. In this role he will lead regional strategy, build local teams and drive adoption of AI solutions across enterprise and public sector customers.
The appointment coincides with the opening of Anthropic’s Sydney office as part of its expansion in the region. He will focus on strengthening partnerships and helping organisations apply AI to real business use cases.
Theo brings over 20 years of experience in the technology industry across Asia Pacific. He joins from Snowflake where he served as Senior Vice President for Australia, New Zealand and ASEAN. His work focused on helping organisations across financial services, retail, aviation and government adopt AI and data driven solutions.
