About the Role
The Area Manager – Sales (Mangalore) will oversee sales operations, manage trade relationships, and drive business growth in the assigned region. The role focuses on achieving sales targets, increasing market share, and ensuring strong sell-in and sellout performance across all channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute sales strategies to meet area targets
- Manage both primary and secondary sales activities
- Lead and monitor the sales team (TSR management)
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and business partners
- Track sales performance and provide reports, forecasts, and insights to senior management
- Support sell-in and sellout operations to ensure smooth product movement
- Analyze market trends to identify new business opportunities
Requirements
- Graduate degree (MBA preferred)
- Experience in sales management, preferably in home appliances or FMCG
- Strong understanding of distribution and channel sales
- Good communication and leadership skills
- Ability to manage field operations and achieve business goals
