LG Electronics has unveiled the LG OLED evo W6, also known as the Wallpaper TV. The new model revives LG’s original Wallpaper TV concept first introduced in 2017 and combines it with True Wireless connectivity and updated OLED display technology.
The OLED evo W6 features a nine millimeter class ultra thin design that mounts flush against the wall, creating a flat wallpaper like appearance. All external connections are handled through a separate Zero Connect Box, which can be placed up to ten meters away, enabling wireless transmission of 4K video and audio without visible cables.
Picture performance is driven by LG’s new Hyper Radiant Color Technology, delivering higher brightness improved color accuracy and reduced screen reflections. Brightness Booster Ultra increases luminance up to 3.9 times compared to conventional OLED displays, while a low reflectance panel improves visibility in bright rooms. Processing is handled by the new Alpha 11 AI Processor Gen3, designed to preserve natural detail while reducing noise.
The Wallpaper TV also supports 4K 165Hz gaming, NVIDIA G SYNC, AMD FreeSync Premium and LG’s webOS platform with personalized AI features and built in security through LG Shield.
