Nokia collaborates with Amazon Web Services to showcase an agentic AI powered 5G Advanced network slicing solution in a live network. du and Orange are the first operators to explore the solution.

The intent based slicing system uses agentic AI to analyze open internet data such as traffic, events, locations and weather along with operator data. It automatically adjusts radio access network policies to meet service level requirements in real time.

The solution supports enterprise and industrial use cases, public safety scenarios and large scale events. It enables on demand slicing during emergencies, traffic surges or concerts while maintaining service quality for premium 5G users.

The integrated platform combines Nokia’s AirScale base stations, MantaRay SMO and Edge Slicing with AWS technologies including Amazon Bedrock and Amazon EKS Hybrid Nodes.

Nokia plans to demonstrate the solution at Mobile World Congress 2026.
