Samsung Onyx Cinema LED 14 Meter Display Targets Premium Theaters
Samsung Electronics has introduced a new 14-meter standard size for its Onyx cinema LED display at CinemaCon 2026, expanding its lineup for premium large-format theaters.
The new display is designed for larger auditoriums, offering enhanced immersion, flexible seating layouts, and efficient use of space. It builds on previous 5-meter and 10-meter models, extending Samsung’s presence in premium cinema formats.
The 14-meter Onyx supports up to 4K 120Hz, HDR brightness up to 300 nits, and full color volume, delivering consistent image quality across seating positions. It also features a 3.3mm pixel pitch and can scale up to 20 meters using modular LED panels.
Beyond movies, the display supports alternative content such as live sports, concerts, and gaming events.
Samsung continues to expand adoption globally, with installations in Europe, the U.S., and other markets, as cinemas focus on delivering enhanced viewing experiences.
