Samsung announced that the Galaxy S26 Ultra received the “Best in Show” award at the Global Mobile Awards during Mobile World Congress 2026 in Barcelona. The awards are organized by the GSMA to recognize notable innovations in the mobile industry.
The Best in Show category highlights consumer products that demonstrate strong technological impact. Winners are selected by a panel of more than 200 analysts, journalists and industry experts.
The Galaxy S26 Ultra was recognized for combining advanced hardware with One UI 8.5 software and Galaxy AI features that support context aware tasks and everyday productivity while maintaining security and privacy.
The device also introduces a built in Privacy Display designed to enhance screen privacy while maintaining viewing quality. A customized chipset powers faster Galaxy AI capabilities in the device.
Judges noted that the Galaxy S26 Ultra stood out among more than 3,000 exhibitors at MWC for delivering practical innovation that users can experience today.
