Samsung Launches Walk-a-thon India 2025 to Encourage Daily Walking

Samsung India has announced the third edition of its Walk-a-thon India campaign, set to take place from 1 August to 30 August 2025. The initiative encourages people across India to stay active by completing 200,000 steps over 30 days. Open exclusively to Samsung Galaxy smartphone users, the challenge is hosted on the Samsung Health app. Participants can track their steps through the app’s leaderboard and compare progress with others. After completing the step count, finishers can claim their rewards via the Samsung Members app between 5 September and 30 September.

All those who meet the step goal will receive discount coupons, while three lucky winners will get a Galaxy Watch8. The campaign is designed to promote daily movement and fitness in an engaging way.

The Galaxy Watch8, which participants stand a chance to win or get discounts on, comes with health tracking features such as sleep monitoring, heart rate, stress and an Antioxidant Index for tracking carotenoid levels. It also includes a Running Coach feature that provides personalized training plans and real-time feedback. The watch runs on Wear OS 6 and includes Google’s Gemini AI assistant for hands-free use.
