Samsung launches Galaxy F36 5G

Samsung Electronics launched the GalaxyF36 5G in India. The phone is priced competitively, with the base 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage model starting at ₹17,499. The 8 GB + 128 GB version costs ₹18,999 while the 8 GB + 256 GB variant is priced at ₹21,999. It will go on sale starting 29 July 2025 through Flipkart and Samsung’s official store. 

The hashtag#GalaxyF365G features a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. It is protected by Corning Incorporated Gorilla Glass Victus+, making it more durable. The phone has a flat design with a vegan leather back and is available in Coral Red, Luxe Violet and Onyx Black. It weighs around 197 grams and measures 7.7 mm thick.

It is powered by the Exynos 1380 chipset, a 5 nm processor and runs Android 15 with One UI 7. Samsung is focusing on AI-powered features this time. Some of these include Edit Suggestions, Object Eraser, Image Clipper and integration with Google’s Circle to Search and Gemini Live for more interactive use.

The phone comes with a triple rear camera setup. It has a 50 MP main sensor with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS), an 8 MP ultra-wide lens and a 2 MP macro lens. The front camera is 13 MP. Both front and rear cameras support 4K video recording. Samsung is also bringing its Nightography tech to this device for better low-light photos.

It has a 5,000 mAh battery with 25 W fast charging support. Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi dual-band, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, USB-C and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Samsung also includes a vapour-chamber cooling system to keep the device temperature under control during heavy use.
