Company Highlights Integrated AI Factory Infrastructure and
Comprehensive Cooling Portfolio for AI Data Centers

LG Electronics (LG) is presenting its “Chip-to-Chiller” cooling solutions for AI servers at Data Center World Asia 2026 (DCWA 2026), which runs September 29 to 30 at the Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Center in Singapore. The exhibition highlights LG’s integrated approach to addressing the growing thermal management and power requirements of the AI data center sector.
An End-to-End AI Factory Infrastructure Partner with “One LG”
Participating in DCWA for the second consecutive year, LG is demonstrating its capabilities as an end-to-end AI factory infrastructure partner at an exhibition space more than three times the size of its 2025 booth. The company is showcasing an integrated infrastructure solution based on the “One LG” strategy, which brings together LG’s heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) technologies with LG CNS’s data center design, build and operation (DBO) expertise and LG Energy Solution’s power equipment. LG Energy Solution is showcasing battery solutions designed to support reliable power supply for AI data centers, including Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), Battery Backup Unit (BBU) and Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS).

Accelerated Deployment With Prefabricated Modular Solutions
LG’s prefabricated hydronic solutions and air-cooled centrifugal chillers support faster deployment and scaling of AI data center infrastructure. The hydronic solution incorporates cooling apparatus, power equipment and control systems into a single prefabricated module, reducing on-site engineering work and shortening deployment time.
The LG air-cooled centrifugal chiller incorporates an oil-free magnetic bearing centrifugal compressor that minimizes mechanical friction losses and improves energy efficiency. Additionally, the chiller employs the company’s Refrigerant Free Cooling technology, which utilizes low outdoor temperatures to reduce compressor load and help cut data center energy consumption.

Specialized Cooling Technologies for High-Density AI Servers
The exhibition also features LG’s latest liquid cooling solutions for AI servers, including its advanced Coolant Distribution Units (CDUs). A CDU is a key component of a direct-to-chip (DTC) liquid cooling system that supplies and circulates coolant to cold plates, which sit directly on CPUs and GPUs to absorb their heat.
LG’s 1-megawatt (MW), 2.6-megawatt (MW) and 600-kilowatt (kW) CDU have completed NVIDIA infrastructure qualification this year, meeting technical criteria covering cooling performance, failover capabilities, and system reliability. In addition, LG’s 2.6-megawatt (MW) CDU has qualified as NVIDIA DSX Ready CDU, meeting the applicable NVIDIA DSX reference design requirements for liquid cooling solution of AI Factory Platform.
At DCWA 2026, LG is demonstrating an immersion cooling solution that efficiently removes heat by submerging servers in a non-conductive cooling fluid. Alongside this, the company is displaying its Fan Wall Unit (FWU): an air-cooling solution incorporating high-efficiency EC fans and low-pressure-drop oval coils to provide energy-efficient and stable airflow to server racks.
Integrated Management and Power Solutions
LG is introducing its Data Center Cooling Manager (DCCM), which supports the integrated management of key cooling equipment, including CDUs, FWUs and chillers. Using AI technology, the DCCM can predict cooling load and optimize cooling systems to facilitate more efficient data center operation.
As part of the “One LG” offering, LG’s sister companies, LG CNS and LG Energy Solution, are also presenting their data center solutions at this year’s DCWA. LG CNS is showcasing its Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) solution, which streamlines the management of diverse data center infrastructure components, while LG Energy Solution is exhibiting power infrastructure solutions designed to support the stable supply of power at AI data centers.
LG Energy Solution is exhibiting a diverse portfolio of battery products tailored for AI data centers, including its 2170 cylindrical battery for BBU applications installed in server racks, providing immediate DC power when needed, JF2 DC Link, an LFP long-cell-based BESS designed with enhanced safety, and JP5 UPS Battery, an NCM-based battery designed to maximize space efficiency in UPS systems. These products demonstrate the company’s differentiated battery technologies that address the diverse and rapidly growing power demands of the AI data center market.
