Sony India has introduced its latest CFexpress 4 Standard Type A memory cards and a compatible card reader for professional creators. The new models include the CEA-G1920T (1920 GB), CEA-G960T (960 GB) and the MRW-G3 card reader. These cards achieve read speeds up to 1800 MB/s and write speeds up to 1700 MB/s offering faster data transfers compared to earlier models.

The cards are designed for professional use with features like a sustained write speed of 400 MB/s for high-bitrate video recording, large storage capacity for 4K and higher resolution files and enhanced durability. They can withstand bending forces ten times stronger than older versions and survive drops up to 7.5 meters. The compact size supports portable camera designs, making them suitable for field work.

The MRW-G3 card reader supports CFexpress 4 Standard Type A cards and enables high-speed USB 40Gbps transfers. It is compatible with PCs, smartphones and tablets and includes a heat-dissipation system to maintain stable performance during heavy use. The new products are available in India now, through Sony stores, ShopatSC.com and other retailers.
