Apple has introduced AirPods Pro 3 offering improved Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), redesigned in-ear fit, extended battery life, and new fitness and translation features. The updated design ensures greater stability, enhanced comfort, and five ear-tip sizes, including a new XXS option. AirPods Pro 3 deliver ANC that removes up to 2x more noise than AirPods Pro 2, and up to 4x more than the original model.
AirPods Pro can now measure heart rate using Apple’s smallest custom-built sensor, supporting more than 50 workout types through the Fitness app. Users also gain access to Workout Buddy powered by Apple Intelligence which provides personalized insights during exercise sessions.
Another feature is Live Translation, allowing seamless in-person communication across multiple languages with support for English, French, German, Portuguese and Spanish at launch and more coming later this year.
AirPods Pro 3 also extend hearing health features including automatic Conversation Boost, personalized Hearing Tests and improved battery life up to 10 hours in Transparency mode. Priced at $249, the new model can be pre-ordered now, with availability beginning September 19, 2025.
