DJI has introduced the DJI Mic 3, the newest addition to its OsmoAudio ecosystem. The compact microphone supports up to four transmitters and eight receivers, making it suitable for multi-camera and group recordings. It is the first in the series to feature adaptive gain control that prevents audio clipping or balances volume automatically. Other features include three voice tone presets, two-level noise cancelling and dual-file 32-bit float internal recording with 32 GB of storage.
Weighing just 16 grams, the transmitter is designed for flexibility with clip-on or magnetic attachments. The charging case holds two transmitters and one receiver while offering 28 hours of total battery life. Quick charging provides two hours of use from a five-minute charge.
Mic 3 offers strong wireless performance with a range of up to 400 meters and resistance to interference. It also supports timecode embedding for easier post-production alignment. For creators, it delivers uncompressed 48kHz 24-bit audio and can connect directly with DJI cameras, smartphones or other devices through Bluetooth, USB-C or 3.5mm ports. The model debuted at IFA 2025 and is now available for purchase in different configurations.
