In Hong Kong’s West Kowloon Cultural District, a unique performance called Tenka Taihei showcased how technology can merge with art to create new forms of expression. The event, directed by musician Kendy Suen, combined live music, calligraphy, projection visuals and interactive sound installations. At the center was the LG SIGNATURE OLED T, the first wireless transparent OLED TV which acted as both screen and canvas.
The name Tenka Taihei means Peace Under Heaven and reflects harmony and hope. Suen explained that the transparent OLED symbolized openness and connection, allowing audiences to see beyond barriers. Visual artist Moon Hung used the screen along with projection mapping and soundscapes to create imagery that seemed to float in mid-air. Audiences experienced calligraphy and visuals together giving the impression that sound and art were interwoven.
