Apple Arcade is expanding its sports lineup this October with the launch of NBA 2K26 Arcade Edition, following the recent debut of NFL Retro Bowl ’26. Developed by Visual Concepts, the game introduces NBA Eras, a major new feature that lets fans relive iconic basketball periods starting with the Larry Bird vs. Magic Johnson rivalry. Players can draft, win championships, and recreate legendary highlights with some of the sport’s greatest athletes.
In The Association mode, gamers can build their own franchises across different eras, while MyCAREER mode brings new multiplayer options and player templates modeled after stars like Vince Carter, Allen Iverson, and cover athlete Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. Authentic rosters have also been updated to reflect the latest NBA moves, ensuring a fresh experience.
