Gaurav Bhaskar has been appointed Senior Director, Global Communications and Public Affairs, APAC at Google, based in Singapore. He brings over 20 years of experience in corporate communications, public affairs, and brand strategy. Previously, he served as Senior Director for Corporate Communications and Public Affairs at Google India, covering India, Southeast Asia and South Asia. In this role, he helped shape Google’s narratives, manage media relations, and navigate policy matters across the region.

Before Google, Bhaskar worked with Rediff.com, Vaishnavi Corporate Communications, Genesis Burson Marsteller, and Perfect Relations, handling clients like Tata Indicom, Tata Communications, IBM, Apple, eBay India, and GAIL. He also gained experience in operations and business development at Syscon Infotech, Opell Technologies, and IndiaMART InterMESH.
