About the Role
The Product Manager will lead the Large Kitchen Appliances category and play a key role in scaling this segment. The role involves creating strategies for product development, marketing, and sales to support company growth and profitability. The person will manage brand positioning, oversee go-to-market plans, and guide cross-functional teams to deliver successful product launches.
Key Responsibilities
- Build marketing and sales strategies to grow the kitchen appliance category
- Lead product launches through ATL, BTL, digital, PR, and trade channels
- Work with product development teams to align with market trends and consumer needs
- Manage P&L, review performance reports, and revise business plans as needed
- Analyze market and competitor data to identify growth opportunities
- Collaborate with sales teams to strengthen channel relationships
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns and track performance (ROI and KPIs)
- Support brand and trade marketing activities
- Drive partner programs and keep trade partners engaged
- Encourage a culture of accountability, performance, and customer focus within teams
Qualifications and Experience
- MBA in Marketing or related field
- 5–10 years of experience in product or category management
- At least 2–3 years of experience with premium or consumer brands
- Strong experience in product development and portfolio planning
- Deep knowledge of kitchen appliances and Indian consumer trends
- Understanding of go-to-market planning, sales, and brand management
- Experience in financial planning, supply chain, or operations is an advantage
- Strong analytical, leadership, and presentation skills
