Sangita Ghalay appointed as Head of Communications at Siemens Energy

Sangita Ghalay has taken on the role of Head of Communications at Siemens Energy India Limited. She brings close to 30 years of experience across organizations like Vedanta Group, Honeywell, Avantha Power & Infrastructure, Avantha Group, Encyclopaedia Britannica, The Tobacco Institute of India and Highlanders Communication. Her work has covered corporate communications, brand strategy, media relations, CSR and crisis management. At Honeywell she helped build award winning CSR programs and at Vedanta she led communication strategy for the Semiconductor & Display and Aluminium businesses.

At Siemens Energy she will use her experience in stakeholder engagement, brand positioning and purpose led communication to strengthen the company’s presence in the clean energy sector. Her background in managing reputational strategy, national advocacy and content development across varied industries supports her role in shaping the company’s communication efforts at both national and global levels.
