TCL has chosen Amazon Web Services (AWS) as its preferred cloud provider to support its smart TV and smart device ecosystem. By adopting AWS infrastructure and generative AI tools, TCL aims to strengthen its global operations, improve product development workflows, and enhance user experiences through more personalized and interactive features.
Using AWS services, TCL launched the TCL Art TV brand, which incorporates text-to-image generation and animated artwork capabilities built on an open-source Stable Diffusion model through Amazon SageMaker. This allows users to create customized artwork for their TV screens by entering simple prompts. AWS assisted TCL across multiple stages, from proof of concept to ongoing operational support.
TCL also rebuilt its user data platform on AWS, connecting previously separated systems and implementing centralized, scalable storage to enable more consistent, data-driven decision-making. Through Amazon IoT Core, the company developed a global IoT platform that supports stable device connectivity and operational efficiency. TCL strengthened its global security framework by using services such as Amazon WAF, Amazon KMS, Amazon Security Hub, and Amazon GuardDuty to manage compliance and cybersecurity risks across regions.
In addition to cloud infrastructure, TCL collaborates with Amazon in e-commerce, Fire TV integration, and Alexa-enabled voice features, expanding its reach across global markets.
