Hitachi Digital Services has been named a Market Leader in the HFS Horizons: Legacy Application Modernization Services 2025 report. The study evaluated 32 global service providers on their ability to modernize enterprise IT systems into scalable and modular architectures. Hitachi achieved the highest ranking tier known as Horizon 3 which highlights companies delivering AI-native and event-driven modernization with strong ecosystem collaboration.
HFS noted that organizations today struggle with fragmented legacy systems, hidden dependencies, rising costs and limited ability to scale AI and emerging technologies. Hitachi was acknowledged for its E3 methodology across cloud, AI, ERP and IoT along with successful program delivery supported by platforms like the Hitachi Cloud Acceleration Platform and Application Reliability Center. The report also highlighted proven results across sectors including energy, finance, healthcare, manufacturing and mobility. Positive client feedback emphasized strong leadership, domain expertise and measurable impact on business outcomes. Hitachi stated that modernization is not only a technical shift but a way to transform how enterprises operate and grow.
