ReNew Energy has achieved an ‘A’ rating in the Climate Change assessment by CDP for FY 2024–25. This marks an improvement of two levels from a ‘B’ rating in FY 2023–24 and places the company in CDP’s Leadership band. ReNew also retained its ‘A-’ rating in CDP Water Security, reflecting continued focus on environmental transparency.
The assessment recognises progress in disclosure quality, governance, risk management and environmental performance. ReNew’s improved score was supported by expanded climate and nature disclosures, stronger ESG governance and deeper integration of sustainability into operational and value chain decisions.
During the year, ReNew published its second Annual Integrated Report and aligned its reporting with India’s BRSR framework. It also released Climate and Nature Action Reports aligned with IFRS S2 and TNFD recommendations. Additional steps included supply chain sustainability initiatives and pilot water positivity projects at two sites.
