NVIDIA is working with Indian government bodies, cloud providers, startups and research institutions to support the IndiaAI Mission. The mission has committed over $1 billion to expand compute capacity, build sovereign datasets, develop frontier AI models and support AI education and startups.
Under the compute pillar, cloud providers such as Yotta, E2E Networks and Larsen & Toubro are deploying NVIDIA GPU infrastructure across data centers in Navi Mumbai, Greater Noida and Chennai. Netweb Technologies is manufacturing AI supercomputing systems in India under the Make in India initiative.
Indian AI companies are building multilingual and multimodal models using NVIDIA Nemotron and NeMo tools. Organizations including National Payments Corporation of India, Sarvam.ai, Tech Mahindra and Zoho are developing models for finance, education, enterprise automation and public services.
NVIDIA is also collaborating with the Anusandhan National Research Foundation to support AI research in science and engineering. Venture firms such as Peak XV and Accel India are partnering to fund AI startups, with over 4,000 already part of the NVIDIA Inception program.
