Samsung Edison Awards 2026 Recognise AI and Design Innovation
Samsung Electronics has received four honours at the Edison Awards 2026, including two gold and two silver awards, recognising innovation across multiple product categories.
The gold awards were given to Smart Modular House and Vision AI Companion. Smart Modular House uses AI to connect home environments, appliances, and users, enabling adaptive and efficient living spaces. Vision AI Companion introduces a new TV interaction model using generative AI for content navigation and control.
Silver awards were presented to Spatial Signage and Bespoke AI Laundry Combo. Spatial Signage features a glasses-free 3D display designed for commercial environments, while the Bespoke AI Laundry Combo integrates washing and drying with AI-based performance adjustments.
The Edison Awards recognise excellence in innovation, design, and product development, with winners selected by industry experts and academics.
