Offering 1.4x magnification, advanced optical stabilization, and intuitive macro-focused controls, the lens delivers exceptional image quality and creative precision for photographers and videographers.
The lens achieves life-size and beyond macro performance, revealing intricate textures and fine details. With an optional teleconverter, magnification extends up to 2.8x, ideal for close-up captures with comfortable working distance. Its state-of-the-art optical design, featuring two XA and two ED glass elements, ensures edge-to-edge sharpness while minimizing aberrations.
Three specialized focus functions Full-time DMF switch, Focus Mode switch, and Sliding Focus Ring enable precise, flexible focusing, supported by four XD linear motors for autofocus speeds up to 1.9x faster than previous models. An 11-blade circular aperture, refined spherical aberration, and Nano AR Coating II deliver exquisite bokeh and clarity even in challenging lighting.
